Altos cortados calizos y un singular almendral cultivado mediante bancales dan a la sierra del Castillo una apariencia at\u00edpica y original en el marco de Sierra Morena. El \u00e1guila perdicera, el milano negro, el avi\u00f3n roquero y la chova piquirroja son las aves estrella de este paraje a orillas del embalse de Puente Nuevo, donde tambi\u00e9n se ven cig\u00fce\u00f1as blancas, buitres leonados y, con suerte, alg\u00fan halc\u00f3n peregrino o acentor alpino. Bajo cornicabras, lentiscos y estepas se refugian numerosos reptiles y crece una variada orquideoflora, con especies de inter\u00e9s como Barlia robertiana<\/em>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
